Richard Inglis

Director of Transportation at Haig Point Club and Community Association

Richard Inglis has been a commercial waterman for the past 40+ years and has been either a Haig Point Captain or Manager dating back to 1985 when the community was founded. He’s operated small fleets of private boats as large as 106′ and currently manages the land and water operations for Haig Point. He’s responsible for ferries running 18 round trips a day to and from the embarkation facilities, as well as, a 24-hour water taxi service to and from Harbour Town. In his free time he’s an active member of the Masonic Lodge and Methodist Church, and even finds time to build his own small craft.
