Gustavo Arias

Gustavo Arias Godínez is an experienced analytic engineer currently leading data transformation initiatives for a BI modernization program at Hakkōda, focusing on Transportation & Logistics operations and modern Cloud Data Warehouse solutions powered by Snowflake and dbt. Prior to this role, Gustavo served as the Manager of the Science Program at Fundacion MarViva, where leadership was provided to a team that transformed diverse data into actionable insights for ecosystem management. Gustavo's academic background includes a Master of Science from Universidad de Costa Rica and a postgraduate degree in Data Analytics and Insights from Universidad Cenfotec, further complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Universidad de Costa Rica. Additionally, Gustavo has contributed to scientific research and environmental assessments at prestigious institutions, specializing in data-driven analyses using programming languages and GIS technologies.
