Adrien Chiariello, CMA

Adrien Chiariello, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning over ten years. Adrien currently holds the position of VP of Finance | Compliance at haku, where they started in April 2022. Prior to this, Adrien served as the Head of Finance and Accounting at Fogo Charcoal, a family business known for producing high-quality Lump Charcoal, from December 2020 to April 2022. Adrien also worked at Proximus Luxembourg as a Process & Performance Improvement professional in the finance sector from February 2020 to November 2020.

Before joining Proximus Luxembourg, Adrien worked as a Corporate Governance Advisor at Fogo Charcoal from October 2019 to December 2019. Adrien also gained valuable experience at Deloitte Consulting, where they held various roles from 2012 to 2019. These positions included Manager from September 2018 to September 2019, Senior Consultant from April 2017 to September 2018, Audit In-Charge from September 2015 to March 2017, Senior Auditor from August 2014 to September 2015, and Junior Auditor from September 2012 to August 2014. Adrien also briefly served as a Fund Reporting Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from July 2012 to September 2012.

Adrien's early career included an Audit Internship at Deloitte Luxembourg from January 2012 to April 2012 and an Auditor Assistant role at SOFICO France from June 2011 to August 2011, where they gained experience in conducting audits for industrial and commercial companies, as well as participating in the audit process for a leveraged buyout project.

Throughout their various roles, Adrien has demonstrated a strong understanding of finance and accounting practices, as well as expertise in corporate governance, process improvement, and compliance.

Adrien Chiariello, CMA, has a strong educational background in accounting and management. Adrien obtained a Master's degree in Accounting, Control & Audit from EM Strasbourg Business School from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, Adrien completed a Bachelor's degree in Management Science with a focus on accounting, financial analysis, and business strategy at IAE Metz School of Management from 2009 to 2010. Adrien also holds a BTS (French two-years technical degree) in Accounting and Management from Lycée Julie Daubié, which was earned from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Adrien has obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. Adrien is a Certified Management Accountant, having earned that designation from the Certified Management Accountant: CMA® institution in April 2022. Adrien has also completed various certification programs in areas such as financial modeling, business process improvement, project management, SAP financials, Six Sigma, strategic thinking, and using Power BI with Excel from reputable institutions such as LinkedIn and the Management and Strategy Institute. These certifications demonstrate Adrien's commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with industry-relevant skills.
