Matteo Scurati

Matteo Scurati has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matteo is currently serving as the Co-Founder and COO at HAL since September 2019, where they focus on connecting Ethereum with centralized applications. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Developer at Cantiere Creativo starting from March 2019.

From 2010 to 2018, Matteo worked at Bookrepublic, where they held multiple roles including Product Owner, CTO, and eCommerce and Project Manager. In these positions, they contributed to building new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and creating a connected retail experience blending digital services and e-commerce functions.

Before Bookrepublic, Matteo founded and worked as a Web Developer at Lo Spazio della Politica, a Social Think Tank analyzing policy issues with a focus on technological development. Matteo also worked as a Freelance Journalist at Limes - Rivista italiana di geopolitica.

Earlier in their career, Matteo served as a Bookseller & Instock Manager at La Feltrinelli within Librerie Feltrinelli. Additionally, they worked in web content and marketing at Skebby, an online SMS service provider.
