Michael T. has over 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry. Michael began their career in 2005 as the Cyber Intelligence Manager at Wells Fargo, where they created and led the bank's cyber threat intelligence team. In 2008, they moved to ManTech as a Program Manager, where they managed cyber security programs for the executive and legislative branches of the federal government. Michael also developed marketing campaigns and delivered capabilities briefings to the commercial sector. In 2009, they co-founded Kyrus, where they recruited and managed a team of cybersecurity researchers and engineers. In 2014, they were seconded to Syndis, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer and established policies and procedures for both business and operational functions. In 2016, they joined Wapack Labs as the Managing Director of Intelligence Analysis, where they managed the cyber intelligence collection, intelligence analysis, and reporting operations of a globally distributed team. In 2017, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Senrio, where they managed all day-to-day activities of an IoT security start-up. In 2018, they joined Fulcrum Sage as the Chief Information Security Officer, where they led a security and intelligence consultancy. In 2020, they moved to Global Cyber Alliance as the Chief Operating Officer, where they managed the day-to-day operations of a global cybersecurity company. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Hala Systems, Inc. as the Chief Information Security Officer.

Michael T. has a comprehensive education history. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University between 1994 and 1998. Michael then went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Computer Crime and Forensics from The George Washington University between 2000 and 2003. Additionally, Michael T. has obtained a variety of certifications, including a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 1999, an Adjunct Instructor certification from the National Security Agency in 1993, and an Introduction to EASY Framework for Threat Intelligence certification from AttackIQ in 2022.
