Sergi Madroñero Mateus

Sergi Madroñero Mateus has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Sergi began their career as an English Teacher for the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2013. In 2018, they took on an internship as a Veterinary Medicine Intern at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. In 2019, they became a Bioinformatics Intern at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona - Facultat de Veterinària and a Data Analyst at Sogeti. In 2020, they were a Data Analyst for HP. In 2021, they became a Predoctoral Researcher at Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute. Finally, in 2022, they were an Offensive Security Engineer for Halborn and a Big Data Specialist for HANNUN, where they were responsible for setting up the Data Department from the ground up.

Sergi Madroñero Mateus has a diverse educational background. Sergi completed a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2021. Before that, they obtained a Veterinary Medicine degree from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2019. In 2012 and 2013, they completed a Double Degree in Computer Software Engineering and Mathematics from the Universitat de Barcelona. In addition to their degrees, Sergi holds certifications from Google, HackerRank, Microsoft, the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education, and Creu Roja a Catalunya.
