Anand Sankaranarayanan

Anand Sankaranarayanan, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Principal Innovation Scientist for Wider Asia at Haleon since July 2022. Previously, Anand held similar roles at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, including Principal Innovation Scientist for Wider APAC and Team Lead for New Product Development focused on Allergy and Nasal Health. With extensive experience at Novartis Consumer Health, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, and various R&D positions in other multinational firms, Anand has been instrumental in product development targeting both the US and Korean markets. Anand holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law and Practice from the Institute of Intellectual Property Studies in Mumbai.
