Christopher Dodson

Christopher Dodson has extensive work experience as a patent attorney, with a focus on the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Christopher began their career in 2005 as a Senior Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, later transitioning to the role of Patent Trainee. Dodson then worked as a Patent Attorney and Patent Agent at Barley Snyder before joining Additon, Higgins & Pendleton, where they prepared and prosecuted patent applications. In 2018, they became a Patent Attorney at Nexsen Pruet, managing global patent portfolios and providing legal opinions. Dodson later joined GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare as a Senior Patent Counsel before taking on their current role as the Senior Patent Counsel (US Patents Lead) at Haleon in 2022. Throughout their career, Dodson has demonstrated expertise in patent prosecution, portfolio management, and opinion work.

Christopher Dodson completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Emory University in 2001. Christopher then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry from The University of Georgia, graduating in 2005. Christopher furthered their education by attending Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
