Brett Mahan

Graduate Civil Engineer at Halff

Brett Mahan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brett began their career in 2013 as a Landscaper at Art Davidson, where they worked until 2015. During the same period, they also served as a Groundskeeper at Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds. In 2015, Brett briefly worked as a Farm Hand at Folsom Farms.

In 2016, Brett joined the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department as an Engineering Intern, where they were involved in site management and construction project inspections. Brett stayed in this role for a few months.

In 2017, Brett worked as a Civil and Construction Design Engineer Co-Op at Hubbell Power Systems, focusing on helical pile and pole line hardware customer design. Brett then joined City Utilities of Springfield as a Natural Gas and Water Customer Engineer Co-Op, responsible for designing and engineering natural gas and water systems for new customers. Brett collaborated closely with construction crews on field systems.

From 2018 to 2023, Brett worked at Olsson, first as a Civil Engineer Intern and then as an Assistant Engineer. In these roles, they gained experience in various engineering tasks.

Currently, Brett is working at Halff Associates as a Graduate Civil Engineer, starting in 2023.

Brett Mahan pursued their education at the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2021. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
