Group Head Of Procurement at Halfords

Tim Warner has over 25 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Tim most recently worked at Halfords as the Group Head of Procurement, starting in 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Procurement at HomeServe from 2016 to 2019, where they were responsible for all procurement activity across the UK businesses and managed a fleet of approximately 1,500 vehicles.

From 2013 to 2015, Tim worked at Thomas Cook as the Head of Procurement (Interim), where they implemented best practices and centralized the group's third-party air capacity spend.

Tim also has experience at easyJet, where they served as the Head of Procurement - Airport Services, responsible for an annual spend of £1 billion. During their time at easyJet, they successfully led a 5-year transformation program that achieved significant cost savings.

Before that, Tim held the position of Head of Commodities at Premier Foods, where they oversaw the sourcing of commodities and packaging materials. Tim began their career at Gallaher Plc as the Group Purchasing Manager, managing the group's direct spend and integrating new factory locations into the company's strategy.

Tim Warner attended Leeds Grammar School from 1979 to 1989, where they did not earn a specific degree or study any specific field. Tim then went on to study Economics at Newcastle University from 1989 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Finally, from 1992 to 1995, Tim attended The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they obtained the ACMA certification.
