Cathy Maddigan

Cathy Maddigan, CPHR, is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Halifax Public Libraries since November 2007. Prior roles include Director of Human Resources at Charm Diamond Centres from 2005 to 2007 and Senior Manager of Human Resources at Purolator Courier from 1992 to 2005. Cathy began their career as a Labour Relations Officer at the Newfoundland Hospital and Nursing Home Association from 1990 to 1992. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce Co-op degree from Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador, attained between 1984 and 1990, as well as secondary education at Booth Memorial High School from 1981 to 1984.
