Paul Shaffelburg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries, with a focus on project management, technology strategy, and GIS. Paul has held various roles, including Director of Data Analytics and Visualization at Halifax Regional Municipality, Manager of GIS at Halifax Regional Municipality, Director of ICT Planning and Delivery (Acting) at Halifax Regional Municipality, Business Relationship Manager & GIS Strategic Lead at Halifax Regional Municipality, Senior Project Manager at Timmons Group, Manager of Professional Services at ESRI Canada, Manager of Projects and Business Analysis at EastLink Communications, Project Manager at CGI, Project Manager at Maritime Life Assurance, and Producer/Project Manager at Cyberplex. Paul Shaffelburg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from Acadia University between 1989 and 1993. Paul has also obtained several additional certifications, including the ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014, the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2013, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2004.
