Digital and Social Media Director at Hall of Fame Resort and Entertainment

Fernando Gutierrez has a comprehensive and diverse work experience. Fernando began their career as an Assistant Video Editor at EngineRoomEdit in 2017, where they gained hands-on experience in all aspects of video production. Fernando then worked as a Production Assistant for the 2018 All-Star Lacrosse Game at ESPN, where they communicated with the broadcast truck and assisted the production crew.

Following this, Gutierrez joined Emerson College as an Undergraduate Orientation Core Staff, where they planned and executed the move-in process for over 800 new students and collaborated with fellow staff members on social media content creation.

In 2018, Gutierrez returned to ESPN and worked as an Archives Assistant for For The Fans. During this time, they managed content ingestion, coordinated remote production streams, and edited film packages for live productions and Division 1 lacrosse games. Fernando also assisted the production team with operational tasks and provided support in pre-production research and graphics.

In 2019, Gutierrez served as an Editor for The EVVY Awards and Content Manager for For The Fans. In the latter role, they led workflow implementation for game and event streams, managed content ingest for various platforms, and coordinated with production teams and vendors.

In 2020, Gutierrez joined LMFAO Sport as the Director of Post Production, where they developed strategies for new content, edited videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, and successfully grew the subscriber count for YouTube and TikTok channels.

Currently, Gutierrez is working as the Digital and Social Media Director for the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company, a position they have held since 2023.

Throughout their career, Gutierrez has consistently demonstrated their skills in video editing, content management, and social media strategy. Fernando has worked with well-recognized companies such as ESPN and Mythical Entertainment, and has contributed to projects for clients including Toyota, Improper Bostonian, and Grammarly.

Fernando Gutierrez completed their high school education at Manheim Township High School from 2011 to 2015, earning a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Fernando then pursued further education at Emerson College from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. In addition to their formal education, Fernando also obtained several certifications in various areas such as Content, Advertising & Social IMC, Engagement & Nurture Marketing Strategies, The Business of Social, The Importance of Listening, and What is Social? from Coursera, with completion dates ranging from September to November 2019.
