Cassie Mallabar is an electrical engineer at Hallam-ICS. Cassie previously worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Vermont, an office assistant at the University of Vermont College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, and a merchandise specialist at Party City.
Cassie Mallabar has always been interested in electricity and engineering. Cassie started their college career as an undergraduate research assistant, working with Dr. Mads Almassalkhi on their research with electric water heaters. Cassie processed and analyzed large amounts of electricity data using matlab and compiled a powerpoint at the end of each week effectively communicating progress.
After their work with Dr. Almassalkhi, Cassie became an office assistant in the University of Vermont’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. There, they created and maintained organized and labeled filing system for ABET accreditation, word processed and organized information into one document, and communicated with staff to retrieve necessary information. Cassie was also a work study office assistant in the University of Vermont’s Office of Animal Care.
In addition to their experience in office administration, Cassie also worked as a merchandise specialist at Party City for four years. There, they were responsible for stocking shelves, setting up displays, and assisting customers.
Cassie’s experience in both office administration and customer service make their an excellent electrical engineer at Hallam-ICS. Cassie is able to effectively communicate with both co-workers and clients, and their attention to detail ensures that projects are completed correctly and on time.
Cassie Mallabar attended the University of Vermont, where they earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Cassie Mallabar reports to William Neuburger, Director of Engineering. They are on a team with Jill LaMothe - Senior CAD Designer, Josh Felgate - Electrical Engineer, and Wayne Catucci - Mechanical Engineer.
