Amit Padhi

Amit Padhi is a Scientific Advisor and Principal Scientist (Physics) at Halliburton since May 2013, specializing in the development of geophysical technology for advanced analysis of seismic and sonic/ultrasonic data. Prior to this, Amit served as a Research Assistant at the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Wyoming from August 2009 to May 2013 and completed multiple summer internships at WesternGeco Houston Technology Center, Rock Solid Images, Inc., and Reliance Industries Ltd, focusing on seismic waveform inversion and data analysis. Amit holds a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Wyoming and an Integrated M.Sc in Exploration Geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Additionally, Amit is a reviewer for several prominent journals in the field, including Geophysics and the Journal of Applied Geophysics.
