Shuang Chen

Shuang Chen has a diverse work experience in data analytics and science. They are currently employed as the Head of Data Analytics at Hallow. Previously, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Calm, where they focused on experimentation and project management. Prior to that, they worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Data Scientist, where they managed interns, rebuilt data pipelines, and worked on fraud science projects. They also gained experience as a Data Scientist at The Nielsen Company, focusing on STB data and model improvement. Shuang Chen began their career as an Enterprise Risk Management Intern at Flagstar Bank and had co-op experiences as an Associate Business Analyst at Scotiabank.

Shuang Chen has a strong educational background in the field of statistics. They completed their Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) degree in Statistics at the University of Waterloo from 2007 to 2012. Afterwards, Shuang pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Statistics at the University of Michigan from 2012 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Shuang has obtained certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. They have been certified as a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer in May 2013. Furthermore, Shuang has also achieved an edX Honor Code Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning, which was obtained at an unspecified time from edX.
