Erwen Mei has over twenty years of experience in the engineering and scientific fields. From 2000 to 2007, they were a Staff Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania, supervising the single molecule spectroscopy and microscopy resources. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Scientist at GE Healthcare, where they developed 1 instrument and filed 2 patents. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Sr. Development Engineer at GE, where they developed and launched 3 instruments, published 1 paper, and filed 2 patents. Since 2014, they have been a Principle System Engineer at Optofluidics, Inc.
Erwen Mei obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Instrumentation, Instrument Analysis, Chemistry & Physics from Wuhan University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Jiangxi Normal University.
