Senior Vice President Latin America at Halo

Marcos Takanohashi has a strong background in sales and leadership, with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Marcos most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Latin America at Halo, starting in 2023. Prior to that, Marcos served as the Senior Vice President of Sales - Latin America at CommScope from 2019 to 2023. During their time at CommScope, they successfully managed sales in the Latin American region, overseeing major accounts such as America Movil/Claro, Telmex, and Telefonica.

Before joining CommScope, Marcos worked at ARRIS as the Senior Vice President of Sales LATAM from 2014 to 2019. In this role, they focused on developing the go-to-market organization and building relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth in the region. Prior to their role at ARRIS, Marcos held various leadership positions at Motorola Mobility and Motorola Brasil, where they managed sales and business development efforts.

Marcos started their career at NEC Corporation and NEC Brasil as a system engineer and engineer, respectively, before moving on to Gartner Brasil as an intern. Throughout their career, Marcos demonstrated strong sales management skills, the ability to drive results, and navigate challenges in the technology industry.

Marcos Takanohashi started their education in 1987 at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, where they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering. Marcos completed their studies in 1991. In the following year, from 1992 to 1993, they attended the Escola Politécnica da USP, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree with a specialization in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.

In 1999, Marcos enrolled at the School of Economics, Business and Accounting at the University of São Paulo, where they pursued an Executive MBA degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Marcos completed this program in 2000. Furthermore, in 2005, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Currently, Marcos Takanohashi is working towards a PhD in Economics at FGV EESP, with an expected completion date in 2025.
