Hege Nikolaisen has a diverse range of work experience. Hege is currently working as the Head of Communication at 1X, where they are responsible for building the global brand and leading the company's transformation and rebranding process. Prior to this, they worked at CompEdge Consulting as both the Agency Manager & Co-Founder and Head of Delivery/Medeier, where they were responsible for project management, sales and marketing, and content strategy. Before that, they served as an Inbound Marketing Advisor & Skribent at CompEdge Consulting, focusing on concept development and inbound marketing. Hege also worked as a Sales Representative at Mynewsdesk, sourcing new sales opportunities. Additionally, they gained experience as a Sales and Marketing Representative at Nexpo.no, where they managed B2B sales, marketing, and administrative tasks. Hege started their career at Enklere Liv, where they worked as an Assisterende Butikksjef and Butikkmedarbeider, responsible for store operations, sales, and customer service.

Hege Nikolaisen has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Sales Management from Kristiania University College, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Bjørkelangen VGS from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a General Study Competence diploma with a focus on Sales, Service, and Transport.

In addition to their formal education, Hege Nikolaisen has obtained several certifications. Hege received a certification in Business Modeling from Innovasjon Norge in November 2021 and became Inbound Marketing Certified through HubSpot in June 2021. Hege also completed Prosjektlederskolen at Kreativt Forum in 2020.
