Sridhar Pandian Arunachalam

Sridhar Pandian Arunachalam has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Sridhar Pandian is currently working as a Research Engineer at 1X since February 2023. From May 2021 to December 2022, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Generalizable Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab at CILVR - NYU, where they focused on creating dexterous manipulation systems for visual imitation learning. Prior to that, they were a Research Intern at the Advanced Geometric Computing Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from May 2020 to July 2020. Here, they worked on modifying PointNet with Self Attention to emphasize local features and also conducted preprocessing of Point Cloud datasets. Sridhar also gained experience as an Intern at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in June 2018, where they studied SCADA systems and worked on ERP implementation.

Sridhar Pandian Arunachalam obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from VIT University (Chennai Campus) between 2016 and 2020. Following that, between 2021 and 2022, Sridhar pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at New York University. Additionally, Sridhar has obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera, although the specific month and year of completion are unknown.
