Andy Gilicinski has over 30 years of experience in research and development, engineering, and mergers and acquisitions. In 2019, they began their current role as Managing Director of CPG Advisor, LLC, a specialty advisory firm focused on consumer packaged goods M&A and Innovation. In 2021, they became an Independent Director of Halomine, Inc., a chemistry-based firm creating innovative solutions to protect surfaces against bacteria, viruses (including SARS-CoV-2), and fungi/molds. That same year, they also became an Independent Director of Wyo-Ben, Inc., a third generation family-owned business and a leading producer of Bentonite Clay, and an Advisory Board Member of Sironix Renewables, a Specialty Chemicals firm offering a breakthrough surfactant with dramatically improved hard water performance. From 2005-2011, they worked at The Clorox Company as Director, Open Innovation Networks and Director, New Products R&D, Laundry & Home Care. From 2000-2005, they were Research Manager, Portable Power and Group Leader, Personal Care R&D at The Gillette Company (pre-P&G). Theircareer began in 1987 at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. where they held roles as Coatings Manager, Lead Surfactant Chemist, Group Lead, Analytical Technology, and Technology Lead, Electrochemistry.

Andy Gilicinski received their B.S. in Chemistry (with High Distinction) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1983. Andy then went on to receive their Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1987.
