Greg Garno has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Greg started their career in 1995 as a Sr. Inquiry Systems Representative at Adams Colway & Associates. Greg then moved to Boom Vang Consulting in 1998, where they worked as a Developer. In 2000, they joined UptimeOne, Inc. as an Implementation Engineer.
In 2001, Greg joined Advanced Technology Systems, Inc. as a Project Manager, responsible for managing multiple tasks and providing technical direction. Greg was later promoted to the role of Technical Director, Enterprise and Management Systems, where they had the responsibility for success and profitability of contracts, strategic planning, personnel management, and more. Greg held this position until 2007.
From 2007 to 2008, Greg worked at Electronic Consulting Services, Inc. as a Project Manager, managing a software development team at the Bureau of Economic Development. Greg then joined PMIWDC as an Assistant Vice President of Communications Operations.
In 2008, Greg started working at ECS Federal, Inc. as a Program Manager, overseeing contract-related activities and providing technical consulting and project management expertise. Greg later became the Director of the Systems Delivery & Integration Division, managing a portfolio of contracts and developing new opportunities. Greg worked at ECS Federal, Inc. until 2015.
After that, they joined Ariel Partners as the Federal Practice Manager and was responsible for managing the practice until 2017. Currently, Greg is working at Halvik as the Sr. Vice President since June 2019.
Greg Garno graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Science. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as a Certified Scrum Master, which they obtained from the Scrum Alliance in October 2016, and as a PMP, which they obtained from the Project Management Institute in September 2005.
