Normen Wiegand

Normen Wiegand has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. In 1997, they began working as the Head of Traffic Planning at the mindenherforder verkehrsgesellschaft mbH until December 2002. Normen then joined Hamburger Hochbahn AG in January 2003 as the Head of Metro Operations Unit and was responsible for various aspects of the subway operation, including train operation, control center, and personnel management. Normen also represented the subway operations in numerous projects and led a project focused on work-life balance. In 2010, Wiegand became a Prokurist / Authorized Officer at Hamburger Hochbahn-Wache GmbH. From January 2012 to April 2020, they served as a Member of the Operations Subcommittee at UITP Metro Division. Finally, since May 2020, Normen Wiegand has been the Chairman of the UITP Metro Operations Platform.
