Cristian Gotiu

Cristian Gotiu has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Cristian started their career in 2006 at Continental Automotive Romania as a Software Developer in the Powertrain Department, where they developed and maintained software solutions for embedded systems. Cristian then transitioned to the Commercial Vehicles Department, where they served as a Senior Software Developer, integrating and maintaining third-party embedded communication and diagnosis software solutions.

In 2012, Gotiu joined TTTech Computertechnik AG as a Software Project Engineer, specializing in the configuration and integration of Autosar BSW modules and bootloader programs for hybrid/electric vehicles. Cristian also developed safety-relevant proprietary software modules and integrated Texas Instruments prototype hardware solutions into commercial projects.

From 2014 to 2017, Gotiu worked at Robert Bosch AG / IVM Technical Consultants GmbH as an on-site Software Engineer focusing on Autosar BSW modules configuration, test automation platform implementation, and the integration of communication software modules for hybrid/electric vehicles.

Since 2017, Gotiu has been working at Hamilton Medical as a Senior Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include designing and implementing model-based embedded software for artificial ventilators, optimizing existing software functions for new hardware platforms, and upgrading test modules.

Throughout their career, Gotiu has demonstrated their ability to adapt to different industries, collaborate with teams, and develop software solutions tailored to customer requirements.

Cristian Gotiu pursued their education at Universitatea "Politehnica" din Timișoara, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Automotive Embedded Systems from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the same institution and obtained a Senior Engineer degree in Telecommunications from 2002 to 2007. Cristian's educational journey began at Colegiul National "Decebal" Deva, where they completed their high school education from 1998 to 2002 with a focus on Computer Science.
