Koren Nichol has extensive experience in library science and information management, currently serving as the Community Youth Librarian at Hamilton Public Library since May 2014. Previous roles include Community Librarian and Information Clerk at the same institution, as well as a Librarian at Guido de Bres Christian High School. Koren contributed as a Volunteer Editor at the Multicultural History Society of Ontario, enhancing interview transcripts for the Strangers No More project, and worked as a Records Coordinator at McMaster Innovation Park, focusing on records management policies. Further roles include providing virtual reference services as an askON Virtual Reference Intern and various internships that involved cataloging, collection development, and information literacy initiatives. Koren holds a Master of Information degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in History from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History and Classics from McMaster University.
