Jackie Lee

Jackie Lee is an experienced Community Librarian at Markham Public Library since April 2018, focusing on community partnerships and educating the public on business and financial literacy. Previous roles include Outreach Coordinator, Camp Leadership Coordinator, and Digital Literacy Specialist at Adoption Council of Ontario, where effective social media campaigns and engagement strategies were developed. Jackie has also worked as an on-air radio talent at Canadian Chinese Radio Station, a camera operator and event staff at Western University, and held internships in public relations and journalism. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Media Information Technoculture from Western University and Global Development from Huron University, with ongoing pursuit of a Master of Education at the University of Toronto.
