Kris Bennett

Kris Bennett has a diverse work history in education and environmental education. Starting in 1996 as a Science and Math Teacher at Mt Desert Elementary School, they later moved on to roles such as Marine Biology Teacher at Gifft Hill School. They have also served as a Professional Development Coordinator at Hamline University, a Study Abroad Director at Iowa State University, and most recently as the Director of K-12 Resources at the Center for Global Environmental Education at Hamline University. With a focus on science and environmental education, Kris Bennett has amassed valuable experience in various educational settings.

Kris Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Cornell University and a Masters in Science Education from the University of Maine. They have also obtained a certification in Instructional Design from Georgetown University in 2021.
