Steven Finnegan, MHA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Steven currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Hampstead Hospital and has been in this role since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a School Board Member at Timberlane Regional School District starting from March 2021.

From June 2019 to July 2022, Steven Finnegan worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health as the Director of Site Operations. In this role, they oversaw multiple primary care and specialty offices, generating significant revenue. Steven also led the COVID-19 safety response for the organization, implementing safety protocols and integrating safety checklists into practice operations.

Before joining Beth Israel Lahey Health, they served as the Healthcare Outpatient Practice Leader in Neurology at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital from March 2017 to June 2019. In this position, they successfully led change initiatives in the outpatient neurology field and managed a diverse team of clinical and administrative professionals.

Steven Finnegan has experience in academia as well. Steven worked as an Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service from September 2015 to June 2018, teaching a class on pediatric disaster response and emergency preparedness.

Prior to that, they held two roles at Boston Children's Hospital. From February 2015 to March 2017, they served as the Practice Administrator for the Advanced Fetal Care Center, overseeing daily operations and budgetary aspects of the outpatient clinic. Steven also worked as a Program Coordinator in Emergency Management from October 2013 to February 2015.

Earlier in their career, Steven Finnegan served as the Emergency Management Director at Elliot Hospital from November 2010 to October 2013 and as the Assistant Chief of Planning at New Hampshire Homeland Security/Emergency Management from October 2009 to November 2010.

Steven Finnegan, MHA has an extensive education history. Steven completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis at Anna Maria College from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Emergency Management at Anna Maria College from 2006 to 2008. In 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

Steven Finnegan continued their education at Liberty University from 2021 to 2023, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Strategic Leadership. Steven then pursued further education at the University of Charleston, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Executive Leadership from 2023 to 2025.

Before attending college, Steven Finnegan graduated from Holy Name High School in 2000.
