Will Bane

Will Bane possesses extensive experience in education and community development. Currently serving as Assistant Principal and Social Studies Teacher at Hampton City Schools since August 2017, Will has also held the role of Director of Professional Development for Teach For America from July 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included designing and facilitating professional development sessions for early career teachers in Eastern Kentucky. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Community Projects at the Peninsula Community Foundation and teaching Social Studies at Floyd County Schools. Will's educational background includes a Master’s degree in School Leadership from William & Mary and a BA with Distinction in Government and History from the University of Virginia.
