Joe Fortner Ems Paramedic

Joe Fortner is an experienced EMS Paramedic and PI, currently serving as the EMS Coordinator at Hancock Regional Hospital since April 1998. Fortner's career spans several roles in public safety and emergency services, including Deputy Sheriff at the Hancock County Sheriff Department from November 1987 to December 2010, and Fire Chief at the Greenfield Fire Department from 1996 to 2000. Prior experience includes positions as a firefighter/paramedic and police officer with the City of Greenfield Fire Department and Greenfield Police Department, respectively. Fortner also owned Fortner Trucking Company from May 1976 to August 1985 and served as a truck driver/military police in the US Army from March 1971 to March 1973. Education includes training at the Methodist Hospital School of Paramedics from 1985 to 1986 and a high school diploma from Greenfield High.
