Grace Fleming

Grace "Megumi" Fleming is an experienced professional in the fields of art education, counseling, and psychotherapy. Currently serving as an Assistant Teaching Artist at Marin Shakespeare Company since February 2024 and as an Artist in Residence at NUMU | New Museum Los Gatos since August 2018, Grace also holds the role of Certified Instructor at Hand in Hand Parenting since August 2016. Prior experience includes instructing "Personal Storytelling" classes for the Alliance for California Traditional Arts until February 2024, as well as a long-term membership with Nichibei Care Network. Grace's storytelling experience spans from 1995 to 2013 with the Storytelling Association of Alta California, alongside roles as a counselor at Phoenix Academy and East Palo Alto High School and a psychotherapist in private practice. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by specialized training in trauma resilience and parenting.
