Raj Nanda

Raj Nanda is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Senior Director, Head of People Operations & Total Rewards at Handshake since August 2023, focusing on strategy and operational models for People Operations. Previously, Raj held the position of VP, Global Head of People Operations at Flexport, where leadership efforts transformed a small team into a high-performing department. At Tesla, Raj developed organizational strategies for HR technology and operations, achieving significant cost savings, and led the Global HRIS function. Raj's career commenced at SolarCity, where successful implementation of HRIS facilitated rapid growth. Early roles included HR functions at GFI Capital and student recruitment at New York University. Raj holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management & Development from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Telecommunications from Mumbai University.
