Christina Schmitt

Christina Schmitt is an experienced finance professional who has held various roles throughout their career. Christina currently serves as the Head of Finance at Handwrytten since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Treasurer at Gather and Grow starting from November 2021. Christina also had a role as a Client Excellence at Metz & Associates PLLC from June 2022 to March 2023.

From January 2018 to September 2022, Christina worked at Morrison Consulting, LLC., where they held the position of Director of Finance and Operations. In this role, they were responsible for managing the overall financial health and risk of the organization, executing on strategic initiatives, and facilitating financial, accounting, and legal functions. Christina also held the position of Controller at Morrison Consulting from July 2015 to June 2022, where they guided financial decisions and established internal controls.

In addition to their finance roles, Christina has also gained experience in sustainability and community development. Christina worked as an Environmental and Sustainability Fellow at The Farm at South Mountain in 2019, where they researched and connected the farm with sustainable partners and developed the on-site Learning Garden. Christina also served as a Food Fellow at Net Impact from October 2017 to May 2018, focusing on bringing awareness and long-term change to their community.

Christina Schmitt attended Arizona State University from 2018 to 2020, where they pursued a Master of Sustainability Solutions. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the ASU College of Global Futures. During their undergraduate studies, Christina specialized in Anthropology at the Arizona State University School of Human Evolution and Social Change.
