Samir began their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Allen & Overy, where they advised corporate trustees and drafted relevant documents for capital market transactions. Samir then worked as an Associate Counsel, focusing on bond issues and debt restructuring.

After their time at Allen & Overy, Samir held various roles in the investment management industry. Samir worked as a Legal Counsel at Schroder Investment Management, where they supported the UK institutional business and collaborated with portfolio managers and client relations teams. Samir then joined AXA Investment Managers as a Legal Adviser, before moving to Janus Capital Group, where they served as a Senior Legal Counsel for six years.
