Matti Engelberg

Matti Engelberg is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various high-level roles. As the Founder of Engelberg&Co since October 2019, Matti has been instrumental in shaping the company’s direction. Previously, Matti served as a Senior Advisor and Partner at Hannes Snellman from September 2003 to the present, and held significant positions at Nordea Bank Finland Plc, including Head of Legal Services/Debt Capital Markets from 1995 to 2003 and VP, Senior Counsel. Prior legal experience includes a role as Legal Counsel and VP at Kansallis-Osake-Pankki from 1985 to 1994. Matti holds an LL.D. from the University of Helsinki and is a doctoral candidate there, with prior education that includes an LLM from the same institution. Matti also received training on the bench at the District Court of Vantaa in 1987.
