Darwin Ponnusamy

Darwin Ponnusamy has had a diverse work experience in various companies. Darwin began their career in Weatherford Asia Pacific as a Support Engineer from July 2006 to May 2008. Darwin then joined Compass Energy as a Cost Controller for six months in 2008. Darwin later started working at Weatherford as a Performance Drilling Tools Engineer in the Asia Pacific region from April to December 2009. Darwin also served as the Region Business Unit Coordinator from January 2010 to May 2011. Darwin pursued a career in investment banking and worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banking Summer Associate in 2012. Darwin then joined Bank of America as an Investment Banking Associate from July 2013 to March 2015. Darwin transitioned to TerraForm Power and held roles such as Senior Manager, Structured Finance and Capital Markets from April 2015 to October 2017 and Director, FP&A from October 2017 to January 2019. Currently, Darwin is working at HASI, where they have held roles such as Director - Structured Investments from January 2019 to January 2022, Senior Director from February 2022 to February 2023, and currently as VP - Portfolio Management.

Darwin Ponnusamy earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2006. After that, they pursued an MBA from Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business, specializing in Finance, and received a Certificate of Academic Excellence in Finance in 2013.
