Tom Pieper

Tom Pieper is a prominent researcher in the field of molecular medicine, presently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Hannover Medical School since April 2019. Specializing in Type 1 Diabetes, Tom Pieper's work focuses on CAR Treg-based gene therapy. Prior to this role, Tom Pieper completed a PhD with an emphasis on developing regulatory T cells enhanced by beta cell specific chimeric antigen receptors for T1D treatment.
