Dr. Alexander Wolf

Leiter Krisenstab at Hanns Seidel Foundation

Dr. Alexander Wolf has extensive experience in international relations and crisis management, currently serving as Leiter Hauptstadtbüro and Leiter Krisenstab at Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung since January 2007, where coordination of measures regarding the Coronavirus/Covid-19-Pandemic is a key responsibility. Previous roles include a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University focused on China and transatlantic relations, and service in the Division Spezielle Operationen of the German Federal Armed Forces from May 1997 to April 2005. Dr. Wolf holds a PhD in International Relations and Affairs from Bundeswehr University Munich and a Master's Degree in Political Science and Government from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, complemented by training at the Manfred Wörner Seminar.
