James Kornegay has extensive work experience in the education field. James began their career as an English Teacher at Franklin Academy Charter School in July 2012 and worked in this role until June 2015. James then moved on to serve as the Assistant Principal at the same school from July 2015 to June 2017. From July 2017 to February 2018, they held the role of Principal at Franklin Academy Charter School. James then transitioned to National Heritage Academies, where they worked as a Dean from February 2018 to June 2021. Currently, James is employed as the Content Director for K-12 Research at Hanover Research beginning in May 2021.
