Sean Watkins

Sean Watkins, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and organizations. Sean is currently the Content Director, K12 at Hanover Research since May 2022. Prior to that, they owned and managed Athenaeum Comic Art, a website representing renowned cartoonists. From 2013 to 2022, Sean worked at the Center for Talented Youth (Johns Hopkins University) in multiple capacities, including Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager. Sean also served as a Research Assistant at Bowling Green State University and Johns Hopkins University. Overall, Sean's experience includes curriculum development, program management, diversity initiatives, research, and teaching.

Sean Watkins, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Global Studies from St. Lawrence University in 2007. Sean then pursued a Master's degree in Popular Culture at Bowling Green State University from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they continued their education at Bowling Green State University, where they received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media and Communication in 2013.
