Gary Devlin

Gary Devlin is an accomplished finance professional with over 20 years of experience in public sector auditing and governance. Currently serving as Vice Chair of CIPFA-LASAAC since June 2023, Gary holds the position of UK Head of Internal Audit and Partner at Azets, where expertise in delivering internal and external audit services for public and charity sector clients is demonstrated. As Chair of the Local Authority (Scotland) Accounts Advisory Committee and Chair of the Board at Hanover Scotland, Gary contributes significantly to governance in the public sector. Previous roles include Head of Government and Not for Profit at Grant Thornton and Senior Manager at Audit Scotland, with a strong educational foundation including qualifications from ICAEW and the University of South Wales.
