Jeremy Macdonald

Jeremy Macdonald is the Group Director of Technology at Hanson Wade. Jeremy has held this position since October 2017. Prior to that, they were a Governor at Ursuline High School Wimbledon from February 2015 to November 2021. Jeremy was also the Director of Technology at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society from February 2015 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for running the society membership and medicines information publishing business. Jeremy led a team that was responsible for the creation and service management of MedicinesComplete, the membership portal, and the BNF smartphone apps.

Previously, Jeremy was the Head of Platform Operations at Macmillan Science and Education from May 2013 to January 2015. Jeremy was also the Director at Macmillan Pension Plan Ltd from October 2002 to January 2015. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director, Platform Development at Nature Publishing Group from January 2002 to May 2013. Their first role was as Development Director at Macmillan Online Publishing from July 1998 to December 2001.

Macdonald attended the University of Leicester, where they completed a BA (Hons) in Combined Studies: Theirtory and Politics. Jeremy also attended St John's School, Leatherhead.

Their manager is Tom Richardson, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Andy Cook - Director of Data Products, Sam Sarwar - Director of CDx Engage, and Anawat Tarr - Technology Director.
