Robert Bailey

Robert Bailey is currently the VP of Sales at Hāpara. Prior to that, they were the President of Rethink Learning from August 2011 to July 2016. Robert is the founder of an innovative company dedicated to building and managing government programs for small business owners. Robert built and led a team of seven full-time employees.

Some of their key contributions and accomplishments include:

1. Leading the company to earn over $1M in sales with 100% ownership and no loans/funding. The company was profitable every year since inception and reached a 40% margin at its peak.

2. Creating and developing a winning RFP bid, for a $3.8M contract, to help small business owners receive necessary training.

3. Effectively bidding on and winning numerous government RFPs.

4. Closing $225,000 in business contracts in the first year of business operations.

5. Designing efficient systems that resulted in a 38% profit margin in Rethink’s final fiscal calendar year.

6. Converting 4,500 small business owners into training applicants.

7. Building a Facebook community, with 4,000 followers, and a contact database/CRM of more than 18,000 business owners.

8. Successfully building a K-12 education marketing division with systemized departmental Salesforce workflows and usage.

9. Systemizing the entire business and creating a documented system that allowed employees to easily work across departments/functions.

Robert Bailey has a BA in Business from the University of Puget Sound and a High School Diploma in IB from Glenlyon Norfolk School. Robert is certified from ASU GSV Summit 2021 Attendee.
