Cynthia Paynter

Cynthia Paynter has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Cynthia began their career in 1995 as a Hotel Operations employee at Coast Hotels & Resorts. In 1996, they joined Oracle as a Hospitality Management Consultant, where they were a Senior System Team Lead responsible for PMS, CRS, Interfaces, new hotels openings, and brand conversions. In 2001, Paynter became the Proprietor and Hospitality Management Consultant at CP Consulting. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, where they were the Director of Distribution Technologies, managing a team of system experts and owning key relationships with internal technology teams and external vendor partners. From 2011 to 2017, Paynter worked at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, first as Director of Revenue Management Talent and Education and then as Director of Revenue Management Development. In 2017, they joined Accor as Vice President Commercial Systems, Pricing & Commercial Offers, and Operational Excellence, where they led a team of subject matter experts and was responsible for multi-million budgets and contract negotiations. In 2022, Paynter began their current role as Vice President Platform Consulting at hapicloud.io.

Cynthia Paynter has a background in education that includes studies at Cornell University for Advanced Revenue Management and Restaurant Revenue Management, and at Dalhousie University for Neuroscience. Cynthia also holds certifications from Langevin Learning Services, including Advanced Instructional Design, Master Instructor/ Facilitator, and Performance Consultant.
