Benjamin N.

Benjamin N. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Benjamin started their career as a START worker at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where they performed computer lab maintenance and assisted students with computer functions. Following this, they worked as a Help Desk Bioinformatics Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they assisted in the administration of bioinformatics databases and developed Perl scripts for automatic updates. Benjamin then joined the University of Washington as a Bioinformatics Programmer, where they developed pipelines for next-generation sequencing data sets and analyzed genomes and exomes. Benjamin then transitioned to PerkinElmer, Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer, working on gene analysis web applications and designing Python programs for genomic data analysis. After that, Benjamin joined DreamBox Learning as a Tech-Lead Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for deploying code, automating infrastructure, and integrating applications with OKTA for authentication. Most recently, they have been working at Copado as a Senior Engineer, leveraging their expertise in software development.
