Chris Courtney

Chris Courtney is the current SVP of science, risk, and analytics at Happy Money. Courtney has a long and varied history in research, with a focus on psychophysiology and emotion. Courtney's research has spanned many different companies and organizations, including the University of Southern California, the Southern California Institute for Research and Education, and the Institute for Creative Technologies. In each position, Courtney has applied their research skills to further our understanding of emotion and how it can be measured and treated.

Chris Courtney has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, and a BA in Psychology from the same school.

They are on a team with Adam Zarlengo - Chief Strategy Officer, Joe Heck - COO, and Abe Jarrett - VP, Engineering. Their manager is Jeff Winner, CEO.
