Kaitlyn Franz

Kaitlyn Franz has a diverse work experience. Kaitlyn is currently working as a Hardware Product Manager at HaptX Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Digilent Inc. for 6 years starting in May 2016, where they were promoted to Senior Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the product vision and roadmaps, creating technical documentation and marketing materials, and increasing revenue through customer relationship programs and new product strategies.

Before joining Digilent Inc., Kaitlyn had various roles at Washington State University. Kaitlyn worked as a Solar Decathlon Tech Lead in 2016 and served as a Teaching Assistant for Intro to FGPA and Data Structures courses from 2014 to 2015. These roles allowed their to reinforce their knowledge in verilog, FPGA design, and C/C++ programming.

Additionally, Kaitlyn has experience in tutoring and childcare. Kaitlyn worked as a Transfer Tutoring Center Tutor and Math Learning Assistant at Shoreline Community College from 2011 to 2013. Previously, they worked as a Nanny in private households, where they took care of children and performed various tasks related to their well-being.

Kaitlyn Franz began their education at Shorecrest High School, where they obtained their high school diploma in 2011. Kaitlyn then attended Shoreline Community College from 2011 to 2013, earning an Associate of Science - Transfer degree. Following this, Kaitlyn went on to study Electrical Engineering at Washington State University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree from 2013 to 2016. In 2019, they received a Product Management Certification from Product School.
