Phoenix Duncan has held various roles in the engineering and construction industries since 2014. In 2021, Phoenix began working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at HaptX Inc. Prior to this, Phoenix worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Advanced Input Systems from 2019 to 2021. Phoenix was also employed at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) from 2016 to 2019, where they held various roles such as Associate Process Engineer, Process Engineering Technician II, Process Engineer intern, Project - Conformal Coat Machine Verification, and Project - Glue Machine Data Filter. In 2016, Phoenix was a Team Member/Project Lead and Project - Capstone Exhaust Redesign for the University of Idaho's Clean Snowmobile Team. In 2017, they worked on a Project - Renewable Energy Powered Pool for ME 435 University of Idaho. Phoenix also worked as a Construction Laborer for Aqualawn from 2015 to 2016, and as a Shop Helper for a Technical Design Studio in 2014.
Phoenix Duncan began their educational journey in 2011 at Kootenai Technical Education Campus, where they studied machining and electronics. Phoenix then attended Coeur d'alene High School, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2014. Phoenix continued their education at the University of Idaho, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. In addition to their educational achievements, Phoenix Duncan also obtained a Fundamentals of Engineering certification from NCEES in February 2018 and a Certified Solidworks Associate certification from Dassalt Systems in May 2016.
