Samuel Jantzi's work experience begins in 2015 as a Well Technician Assistant at Weitzel Pumps and Water Treatment, where they installed and repaired water pressure systems and operated heavy machinery. In 2016, they worked as a Laborer at H2Ontario Inc., gaining experience in commercial water treatment systems and waste water treatment processes.
From 2017 to 2017, Jantzi was a Junior Site Inspector at MTE Consultants Inc. Initially hired as a Student Design Assistant, they assisted with pump and pipe sizing before transitioning to site inspection due to a shortage of inspectors. In this role, they oversaw site work, tracked quantities, and provided design change recommendations.
In 2015, Jantzi became the Mechanical Lead at MAC Formula Electric, where they obtained funding for the team and provided direction to complete assigned tasks. Samuel held this role until 2018.
Starting in 2018, Jantzi joined Canoo as a Powertrain Engineer until 2022. In this position, they specialized in rotating components and was involved in various projects, including mechanical integration and high voltage design.
Most recently, Jantzi joined Harbinger in 2022 as a Powertrain Engineer. Working with a small team, they gained exposure to all aspects of the eAxle and worked on additional projects related to mechanical integration and high voltage.
Samuel Jantzi attended McMaster University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management. Their field of study focused on Thermofluids.
