Henry Liu

Henry Liu, MD, currently serves as a Resident Physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since June 2023. Liu presented research on glaucoma as a risk factor for postoperative visual loss during the ANESTHESIOLOGY Annual Meeting in October 2023. Previously, Liu worked as a Clinical Instructor at California University of Science and Medicine and as a Clinical Research Fellow at Doheny Eye Institute, both from July 2022 to May 2023, under the mentorship of Alfredo A. Sadun, MD, PhD, and Jane W. Additionally, Liu held a position as a Research Fellow at Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center, contributing to the STAT2 Trial, and spent three years at Augmedix as a Senior Training Specialist, where responsibilities included training staff on EHR software and managing a scribe team. Earlier experiences include undergraduate research at UC Irvine School of Medicine and an internship at Merrill Lynch. Liu earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from California University of Science and Medicine in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine in 2014, with further studies at the University of Copenhagen in 2012.
